The honest accessibility widget
Every visitor deserves a site that works for them.
BriteADA is a 12KB preferences widget that lets people adapt your site to their own needs: bigger text, high contrast, dyslexia friendly fonts, reading tools, stopped animations, and more. It looks like your brand, tracks nobody, and costs less than your hosting.
It is running on this page right now. Press Alt + A or tap the button in the corner. That is the whole demo, because that is the whole product.
Read this before buying any accessibility widget
No widget makes your site ADA compliant. Including this one.
Some vendors charge thousands per year on the promise that one script tag equals legal compliance. Regulators and courts have not been kind to that claim. We would rather tell you the truth and charge you $99.
What BriteADA is
- A genuinely useful control panel your visitors with low vision, dyslexia, ADHD, motor differences, or photosensitivity can use to make your site comfortable for them.
- One worthwhile part of an accessibility program, alongside accessible code, testing, and content practices.
- Private by design. Visitor choices are stored on their own device. We collect nothing about them.
What BriteADA is not
- Not a compliance certificate, a legal shield, or a lawsuit repellent. Nothing you can paste into a page is.
- Not an overlay that rewrites your code with unreviewed automation and hopes for the best.
- Not a surveillance tool. No analytics on your visitors, no fingerprinting, no data resale. Ever.
What visitors can do with it
Nineteen adjustments. Five one-tap profiles.
Reading
Four text sizes, spacing boost, readable and dyslexia friendly fonts, underlined links, left alignment, and a hover text magnifier.
Vision
High contrast, saturation control including grayscale, stronger focus outlines, a large cursor, and reduced transparency.
Motion and attention
Stop all animations, pause and mute media, a reading guide, a reading mask, and an images-off mode with zero layout shift.
Navigation
A page structure panel that jumps to any heading or landmark, plus an automatic skip link when a site lacks one.
Profiles
Seizure safe, vision impaired, ADHD and focus, cognitive, and motor. One tap applies a sensible bundle; everything stays adjustable.
Your brand, not ours
The panel inherits your colors, fonts, and corner radius through CSS variables. It looks native, not bolted on. White label on the agency plan.
Installation
Live in about two minutes
Pick a plan
Checkout takes a minute. Your license key appears immediately, no sales call, no demo booking, no quote request.
Paste three lines
A stylesheet, a tiny snippet, and a script tag. Works on any site: WordPress, Joomla, Next.js, Vite, Shopify, plain HTML.
Match your brand
Six optional CSS variables set the panel's colors, font, and corners. Skip them and you get clean accessible defaults.

Questions, answered straight
FAQ
Does BriteADA make my website ADA compliant?
No, and be suspicious of anyone who says their widget does. Compliance depends on how your site is actually built and maintained: semantic code, keyboard support, contrast, alt text, form labels, and testing. BriteADA gives your visitors genuinely useful controls and is a worthwhile part of an accessibility program, but the program is the thing. If you want help with the real work, our parent agency does audits and remediation as a separate service.
What do you collect about my visitors?
Nothing. Visitor preferences are stored in their own browser's localStorage and never sent to us. Our servers see the normal web server logs involved in serving the script file to your license, and that is it. No analytics events, no fingerprinting, no cookies from us on your visitors.
What happens if I cancel?
Your license stays active until the end of the year you paid for, then the script stops loading. Your site keeps working exactly as before; the corner button simply disappears. Visitors' saved preferences sit harmlessly in their browsers. No lock-in, no ransom.
Will it slow my site down or break my design?
The widget is about 12KB gzipped, loads deferred, and causes zero layout shift. Your site looks pixel identical for anyone who never opens the panel; every adaptation is opt-in per visitor. The panel itself renders in an isolated shadow DOM so your CSS and ours cannot fight.
Can I self-host it instead of loading it from you?
On the agency plan, yes. Some teams want the file on their own infrastructure and we think that is a perfectly reasonable thing to want, so we support it rather than fighting it.
Refunds?
Fourteen days, no questions, any plan. Email hello@briteada.com.
Who builds this?
BriteADA is built by BriteAgency, a web and marketing agency in Oneonta, New York, with a parent IT firm that has been serving small businesses since 1993. We built this widget for our own client sites first, got tired of what overlay vendors charge and claim, and decided the honest version deserved to exist at a fair price.
